Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam class. Meloxicam Injection is use in dogs for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and in Cats for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopaedic surgery, ovariohysterectomy and castration when administered prior to surgery.
