Ian Jacobson

Personal Experience

Ian Jacobson boasts a remarkable 43-year tenure in the pharmaceutical industry, notably founding Juno/Cpoint in 2010. Before his venture with Juno/Cpoint, Ian held the position of CEO at Cobalt Pharmaceuticals under Arrow Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2010, where he significantly contributed to the expansion of Arrow’s international business units in South Africa and Brazil. During his tenure, he oversaw annual Canadian sales exceeding $300 million and played a pivotal role in facilitating Arrow’s acquisition by Watson Pharmaceuticals (now Teva) in June 2009 for over $2.4 billion USD. 

Prior to his time at Arrow, Ian served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Genpharm, Canada, and held senior executive roles at Amerpharm/Merck KGaA (now Mylan/Viatris) in the international generics business, as well as within the office of the President of Par Pharmaceuticals (US) for Merck Generics.
